Established in 1995 (following a pilot scheme funded by BBC Children in eed 1993/1994), the out of school club is registered by Ofsted for 20 places for after school and 35 (under 8's) places during summer holidays. Based at South Craven Youth Centre during term time, the scheme opens between 3.30pm to 6.00pm. Each school holidays, the scheme operates throughout the day from 7.30am to 6.00pm. However during the summer holiday periods, the scheme relocates to South Craven School Airedale Hall, on Holme Lane.

The scheme has been, over the years, most beneficial to single parents/guardians and those returning to work or college.
