Funding Advice and Support for Voluntary and Community organisations in Craven PDF Print E-mail

Philip your local Funding Adviser is based at South Craven Community Action and is available to support you on a one to one basis by helping you to develop your project, research the right funder/s, plan a funding strategy, and give you advice about any funding applications you would like to submit.

 

The services offered by SCCA are BIG Lottery funded, so are free and include:

  • Direct advice and guidance on a range of issues including – project planning, governance, policies and procedures, seeking and securing funding

  • Information Service- details of appropriate funders and Information Fact Sheets to help with your funding application

  • Training events and funding fairs

  • Access to regular funding newsletters

 

However:

  • SCCA does not give grants

  • SCCA will not make your funding application for you.

  • SCCA will not approach a funder for you or recommend you to a funder.

  • SCCA’s remit is to help voluntary organisations not individuals, statutory bodies or commercial organisations.

 

The Craven Funding Advisor is a member of the York and North Yorkshire Funding Advice Network.

 

The Funding Advice Network is made up from Funding Advisers employed by Local Infrastructure Organisations (LIOs) across the county, as well as staff and representatives from the City of York Council, North Yorkshire County Council and Local Authorities throughout North Yorkshire.
